October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

As a person who has seen the devastation of breast cancer in loved ones first hand losing my mother and my sister to this ugly disease, I felt compelled to dedicate today's post to products supporting breast cancer research. Breast cancer will touch all our lives personally in some way in our lifetime. A mother, a sister, an aunt, a grandmother a friend and yes even a father, son, uncle and grandfather or ourselves. No one is untouched by its ugly purpose. However; we can help in small ways by contributing to the research of not only breast cancer but all cancers. The following are products that will donate a portion of their proceeds to breast cancer research in the month of October. Teleflora Pink Blush Bouquet

  1. Oh honey, I am so, so sorry about your mom and your sister. I know breast cancer awareness must be a difficult topic to write about so I thank you for reminding all of us. Hugs, Marla

  2. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mom and sister. I do try to buy pink when I can. I own a pink vacuum by Dyson sold in honor of breast awareness. I think I need that pink swiffer too and those boots are so cute.

  3. I'm sorry your have lost two loved ones to this disease. It is so difficult to think about how many are victims of this...families of loved ones are victims as well. You should link this post to Pink Saturday this week. It would be a perfect fit. I did a the Pink Ribbon Bears for PS this yesterday. ~ Sarah

  4. A wonderful reminder! I too am sorry that you know of the pain so first hand with your family. Thank God we are making such progress with this fight!

    I love your Fall decorating!
    Hugs, Donna
