It's Like A Train Wreck.....

I promise myself every season that I am not going to watch.............nope not me, not this time, no way! Let me reveal my shallow self.......The Bachelor junkie. Hello my name is KD and I am a bachelorholic. So of course last night I HAD to watch the most dramatic proposal and rose ceremony ever. Oh yes I did. I also had to watch the after the Rose show that was so traumatic they had to film it on a closed set. Can ya feel the fishing line pulling ya in yet? It is like a bad train wreck, a morning after , a one night stand. Here I am tired from staying up to late and of course disgusted with myself and ABC for even watching and um showing the stuff. Heart be still.......he proposed only to break it off on the wrap up show. Change his mind and beg the other gal who he so unceremoneously dumped to give him another shot. I can just hear my mother yelling "DO YOU HAVE NO SELF RESPECT?" This has to be staged right? No one would break up with a person on live TV without some huge paycheck coming their way...right? Okay so now that I have a bachelor hang over I must move on with my day but not before vowing to "never watch this show again" ...........ummmm after part two of the after the rose show though, okay?

  1. If you haven't read BooMama's recap, you must....I am with you on this. I never, ever intended to get so wrapped up in this. SUCKER...I am. I told BooMama in my comment, it's like going thru all the motions of making a fabulous dessert, finally getting it ready, enjoying it to the hilt, and then throwing it up. Blech, I am OVER the Bachelor. Done... (but I wanna know what the final rose ceremony PART 2 is gonna be about).....can't stand not knowing.....don't wanna care at all! :)

  2. It was crazy! I'm going to watch tonight but I figure that all had to be staged right? I hope that poor girl runs.

  11. No wonder he's divorced, the Bachelorette dumped him, and if Molly stays with him... she's a bigger idiot than he is!! I feel sorry for his little boy! What example is his father? Yet you after all my ranting and raving, I too will be watching part II!! I'm just as big a loser!! LOL

  13. I was too tired last night and missed it..but I heard it was terrible and upset lots of people. I am wondering..why does he cry..and it this program this stressful? I used to enjoy it a lot. The only one that made it was the little couple that got married here in Murietta. How could he do such a thing so publicly. Perhaps she is lucky to be rid of him.

  15. I have to say that I haven't really watched the bachelor for a few years. But...I did for some reason see the finale where he asked the girl in the yellow dress to marry him. But I didn't see the other 2 shows that followed that except for all of the news on different shows about it. I didn't even know that the one girl, Molly is it?, was from Grand Rapids, MI....not too far from me. Ha,ha! Guess I am lost on the whole thing. But for me, who would want someone that puts you second?? Not me!

  18. Believe it or not, my HUSBAND was the one who insisted we watch this drivel. He got hooked the last couple of episodes, mostly because he couldn't believe that women would actually act this way. After the last show, and Jason and whats-her-name were all kissy-kissy, I said *okay, its over* but he said, no, we have to watch the *after the rose* show. I told him that I was going to tell all his friends that he was a Bachelor fan. He just looked over his glasses at me and said dryly *Do you really think anyone would believe that?* And of course, he's right!
