Spring Fluffing

As if my day wasn't exciting enough today, between loads of laundry (woo hoo) and packing for my daughter and I to leave for Florida tomorrow (yes another cheer competition) I decided I maybe had 10 minutes to browse some of my blogging friends. Bad idea! An hour later and a now load of wrinkled clothes (left sitting in the dryer) I am sitting here typing this post. Why you might ask? Well one of my first stops was to Southern Hospitality where I discovered Rhoda was hosting a Spring Fluffing. Well the title alone was completely irresistible! Especially for a bunny addict like myself. Last week I started "playing" with my spring and Easter decor. Never really completed any of it for lack of time but still thought I would share.
I found these cute little tins of tulips this year at Home Goods. I usually have a couple Easter Egg wreathes that I bought a few years back up on my doors but when I pulled them out this year the ummm "egg shells" (plastic) had cracked and peeled a bit.

I thought these were cheery and I loved the idea of being able to place them low on my french doors. French Style!

Every time I walk past my buffet I find that things have been added, moved and taken away. Little Miss Whimsy likes bunnies more than I do! Here is how I found it this morning. I have no idea where the bunny with the yellow broken Easter egg came from. I have never seen that one before.

Little Miss Whimsy also likes to name all our bunnies. I believe this one is Mr. Hoppy.

Meet Mr. Fluffenstein.

This one is Miss Little Egg, I think she must be Native American. Her name sounds like a Native American name to me!

Mr. whiskers

This is one of my favorite bunnies. She looks like she is hand stitched even though she is not made out of fabric. Last I heard her name was Rosie.

The beginnings of my Easter table. I will work on this one and do a post on it at a later time.

My very favorite Bordello plates.

I found these cute little shakers at Home Goods as well.

I love this little bunny and cabbage dish.

Easter eggs on the kitchen chandelier. Just a few touches I have started working on for Spring and the fast approaching Easter. Hope you've enjoyed. To view more wonderful Spring inspiration visit Southern Hospitality.

  13. Great start for Easter decor! We lived the high school and competitive cheer life in California with our daughter and it was so much fun. I'm a pro at setting the curly ponys. Miss those days.

  20. I was simply browsing and came across your sweet blog. I would love it if you could tell me how you hung the tulips on your front doors. They are such a nice look. I have been wanting to do something similar to my double french style doors but am hesitant to make a permanent mark on the doors. Any advice? Thanks
