Introducing.......

I would like to introduce y'all to a new blog......... MAKE MINE BEAUTIFUL

My friend Polly has now extended her many talents into the world of blogging. Polly is a very talented designer. Many of you might even recognize her once you visit her site.

Her talents soar when it comes to combining fabrics and sewing. She makes the most incredible items and will be selling them in her Etsy store.

In addition to her sewing talents she is full of fun ideas, tutorials and lovely photography.

All the items you see in these pictures will give you a glimpse of her incredible creations. She is in the process of building her Etsy store and her blog. The "sneak peak" shows that she is off and running and will extend her talents into a place we will all want to visit frequently.

I urge you to make taking a visit to her blog Make Mine Beautiful a high priority. For anyone who loves decorating ideas, fabric and crafts it is a must see. Watch for a fun giveaway at Southern Whimsy in the future featuring some of Make Mine Beautifuls lovely goods. Welcome Polly!

  4. Hello!

I love the lamp with the letter R on it, can you tell me where you found it? Our last name starts with R and I would love add a lamp like that to our home. =)

  5. Hi Liz. The lampshades were monogrammed at a place that does monogramming. You can take the shade you want done into a place that does monogramming and they should be able to monogram it. The only stipulation being that the shade can't have a lot of slope or curve to it as that doesn't work well in their machines. So square or rectangular shades work the best. Good luck and let me know if you have have it done. I would love to see it.
